Mac OS X Snow Leopard box shotA number of resources have started appearing across the web to help users who are wondering whether their current software is compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

Apple today posted a support document outlining which applications the Snow Leopard installer will identify as being incompatible and subsequently move them to a folder named Incompatible Software.

In addition Apple posted a second support document covering the many printers and scanners that are supported out of the box by Snow Leopard with links to the various vendors from where new drivers or update information can be obtained.

A more comprehensive, all-be-it unofficial, list has been posted over at snowleopard.wikidot.com. According to information posted on the page individual users can collaborate by sharing their experiences by adding applications not already listed on the site.
